Audio and Video Sound Systems
Audio comes in many forms but in the end what matters most, is matching the right technology with the specifications needed.
An arena doesn't require the same sound system as a small bar or a church. A PA system doesn't have the same sound characteristics as a lounge sound system.
Some sound systems are interactive like, intercoms, video conferencing systems and etc. while some are one way like Public Address systems; in all situations it is important that the strength and quality match the size and type of venue while keeping budgets in mind.
If you don't see what you need on our website give us a call, chances are that in over 30 years we've work on or supplied the product you're looking for.
Sound systems can be very simple to very complex where we can assist in selecting the right technology for your needs.
For good sound reproduction and even distribution it is very important that the right mixture of speakers and electronic components are selected.
Having a system too big is not only a waste of funds it generally doesn't translate to proper sound as you have to keep the volume low. The reverse is also true where having a system that is too small doesn't sound good as you have to keep it cranked up and they tend to not last due to overheating so in the long run you spend more.
Multi-Rooms Audio and Video Systems
While multi-room audio/video can in theory be used in homes and in public venues, traditionally in a public venue these systems are generally called PA, digital signage, distributed video, sound system and etc.
Therefor in this section we are talking about consumer homes. It is important when building a new home to take multi-room audio into consideration because it is much easier to wire during construction then after.
For existing homes, consider using wireless technology which often is less expensive, the wiring and avoids having unsightly wires along walls and floors.
Audio Intercom Systems
There are intercom systems for virtually any applications. They can be as simple a station system like one in the garage and one in the kitchen to as complex as a multisite integrated system with door and parking access control.
At LP Electronics we are not a product vendor, we are a solution provider. Therefore we don't just list one manufacture as no one manufacture caters to all types of requirements.
We offer free Consultations on all audio - intercom systems and design a system that suits your needs and budget.
Audio - PA Systems
Traditionally public venues had two systems a sound system for good quality sound and a PA (Public Address) system to make generic announcements in a low quality voice to different areas called zones.
Today, sound and PA systems are intermix. While you can still purchase a plain PA system or a stand alone sound system, many are opting to get a combination of both. This way when you make your announcements the sound system volume will automatically lower during the announcement.
These new system can be very comprehensive where you can have multiple sources like a CD player, Tuner, TV, Microphone etc and have multiple zones where each zone can select each their own source or all use the same source. Some allow that each zone has a remote controller allowing for a local source to be added on the fly.
Theater systems can be very inexpensive for small venues to very expensive systems for those that really enjoy quality.
There are many components to a good theater system which can be daunting to some. You have to consider the type of projector needed, where it is physically going to be located to get the size of picture desired. You have to consider the style and type of screen to use, the lighting in the room, the sound system and where the speakers are going to be physically located.
We can help with the design and the sourcing of the right products.
